WELCOME TO THE TARMAC WEBSITE

TARMAC is the longest running R/C club in the Toowoomba area, and is located just off the highway at Hodgson Vale (see map).  The flying field is owned by MAAA, and is the subject of a very long term lease to the Club through MAAQ, thus giving considerable flying security into the future.

We fly most of the day on Saturdays & Sundays, and you will usually find members also coming out on Wednesday mornings. Holders of current FAI cards are always welcome visitors, as is anyone interested in trying out our 'sport'.Club Contacts may be found under the "Information" tab, and directions to our flying site is a Google Map link found under "Location". The "Weather" tab directs you to current flying conditions at the Hodgson Vale field.

Should your MAAQ/ MAAA affiliated Club or Association be interested in holding an event at the field, please contact the President or Secretary. The field has been host to the 1998 Nationals, and State events in Electric Glider, Helicopter and Pattern.
