Membership

To help decide if this great sport is for you, TARMAC invites you to come and fly with our members before signing up. You can fly with us up to 3 times before you need to make a decision about joining, so why not come and try?

If you decide that you would like to become a member then simply download our Membership form, fill it out and post it to us or hand it to our secretary or hand the form to one of the friendly staff at our local hobby shop, Wings Over the Downs.

Your membership application will then be presented to the current members at our next Club meeting. After your application has been accepted, you'll be informed and welcomed to our club.

We really do hope you will join us and become part of this wonderful and friendly club. There are so many good reasons to join us at TARMAC. Whether you're a seasoned pilot, a complete beginner or somewhere in between, we welcome you just the same. For those of you who may be new to the hobby, we have instructors who can get you up and flying in no time. We even have club-owned trainer models that are set up ready for you to begin learning to fly!

There really is no time like the present to take the short drive out to our field and get started. You'll find us out there several days of the week but particularly on Wednesday and Sunday. If the weather permits flying then you can almost bet that some of us will be out there with a model (or two).
